Championship Day 1C: Nicholas Chong Leads

$1,700 SPS Championship (Re-Entry)
$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 7:  500/1,000 with a 1,000 ante
Day 1C Entries:  309

Nicholas Chong

The second break ended, and we found a new leader in the crowd. After sending two players out with a bigger straight versus a smaller straight versus a set, Nicholas Chong is stacked up huge with 325,400. For reference, that would be good enough for the sixth overall stack going into Day 2, and he has seven more flights to build it.

Wagner Wysotchanski continued to hold a spot near the top and improved to 228,500 to hold second.

Flight C will play three more levels, take a break, and registration closes for the Championship when they return at 5:45 pm.

Championship Day 1C: Still Arriving

Level 6:  400/800 with a 800 ante

Fabian Foster

We continue to see players join the SPS Championship with three hours remaining to register. Plenty of time to hit some new milestones.

Recent addition include Fabian Foster, Anthony Askey, Hyndi Khomutetsky, 2021 TPC Champion James Kerr, Josh Adcock, and Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler.

Khomutetsky was the last player to enter the Championship on a discount, winning her seat in the Last Chance satellite that started at the same time as Flight C.

Championship Day 1C: Guarantee Gone

$1,700 SPS Championship (Re-Entry)
$1,000,000 Guaranteed | Structure
Level 5:  300/600 with a 600 ante
Day 1C Entries:  243

Soon after the first break, entry 243 took a seat in Flight C to put the combined total at 667 for the SPS Championship. That number pushed the prize pool over the $1,000,000 guarantee and will continue growing until registration closes at 5:45 pm.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support and those still on their way.
