John Tyler Kennedy
Day 1A reached the last level with open registration, they will run through these 40 minutes, take a 15-minute break, and we will close the books when they come back for Level 10.
We still have two more flights to go: one tomorrow at 11 am and the last on Saturday at 11 a.m. Plus, there is a satellite tonight, tomorrow night, and Saturday morning.
A few new friends in the field include John Tyler Kennedy, RJ Sullivan, and last night’s DeepStack Challenge champ Ken O’Donnell.

Justin Fawcett
The second break ended and players are back in action with three levels (plus a break) to get in the game or re-enter if that’s what they need.
Justin Fawcett did not lead at the last break but jumped to the top two minutes into the new level. Now, he’s the outright leader at the second break with 184,500.
The closest to him are all seated at Table 21 with Evlys Gutierrez (118,400), Bill Burdick (103,300), and Wasim Assaf (102,000) trying to chase Fawcett down.

Colby Covington
The Day 1A field reached 67 entries at the midpoint of Level 5, the exact pace needed to surpass the $300,000 guarantee. But we want to smash it, and we expect to do just that with a busy weekend in the near future.
MMA superstar Colby Covington joined us after the first break. The former Champ has several big scores with our friends in Hollywood, including a SHRP Pot-Limit Omaha 8 trophy, and he’s here looking for his first Tampa score.
Recent friends joining include Drew Dodge, Rusty Wadsworth, David DiBernardi, Filipp Khavin, Sarah Ortego, and Tarun Gulati.
$1,700 WPO Championship (Re-Entry) $300,000 Guaranteed | Structure Level 4: 300/500 with a 500 ante Day 1A Entries: 51
Robert LeBeau
The second break ended, and cards went back in the air. There were 51 entries, which is a nice pace for the busy weekend coming up.
Robert LeBeau was the early front-runner with 123,000, followed by Justin Fawcett with 108,000. They are the only two players to spin their 40K stack up over 100K.
But LeBeau’s lead did not last long; soon after the start of Level 4, Fawcett let us know he was now at 141,000 and climbing.

Fred Paradis
Flight A is moving right along, more players are making their way to the Poker Room and joining the Championship. They will play out this level before their first break, a perfect opportunity to check out the upgraded menu at the Snack Bar (get the pizza).
A few more friends today include legendary Fred Paradis, Justin Fawcett, Nick Schulz, Tony March, and Ken Fishman.
