Wideman was no good and hit the rail courtesy of Nguyen. The massive hand saw Nguyen stack about 430,000 chips.

Just a couple hands later, Nguyen picked up and had an opponent’s 90,000 chips at risk preflop. The opponent held and Nguyen was in great shape to reach uncharted territory. The flop was unkind, though, as it fell ace high and Nguyen sent a double up next door.

Even still, Nguyen’s stack totaled 330,000.
