After his late arrival, things haven’t gone the way of the start-of-day chip leader Chris Mitchell. With under 100,000 chips and less than 10 big blinds, he’s relegated to one move.

He recently open shoved from middle position for about 80,000. Mitchel watched as player after player mucked before it got to the big blind. He folded as well. Mitchell faded a call and got to live another hand here on Day 2.

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the previous chip leader as he tries to build a stack back up.
