Florida pro Austin Buchanan’s run at a Winter Poker Open title has come to an end. Buchanan, who owns more than $425,000 in tournament earnings, was in the big blind and faced a button raise to 23,000. Buchanan called and they saw a flop of QhTd3c. Buchanan checked and the button bet what appeared to be 35,000. Buchanan check-raised all in and the button didn’t waste anytime calling. The button held KhQs and was comfortably ahead of Buchanan’s JhTc. The board completed blanks and Buchanan gathered his things.
