There was some commotion on Table 45 and we arrived to find tournament director Byron Rodriguez counting down Greg McNealy’s stack.

As it turns out, McNealy was involved in a hand where a middle-position player opened. McNealy called from the small blind and Jordan Robinson defended the big blind. The flop came KsQd8c and it checked to the middle-position player. He bet, McNealy called. Robinson raised and the middle-position player folded. McNealy and Robinson eventually got all in, McNealy holding the worst of it with Qs8s versus Robinson’s Kx8x — two pair against a better two pair.

The turn nailed McNealy, falling the Qh improving him to a fullhouse. Robinson left the table in disgust. The river was the 8d and that’s when Rodriguez hopped into action counting down stacks.

Robinson, who started the day in the top 10, was left with about 5,000 chips. He busted a short time later. McNealy, meanwhile, is one of the big stacks with 220,000 and the clock reading 84 players remaining.
