After Scott Anderson was sent out in 4th place, the three remaining players settled it for a long battle. Stephan Bourges and Daniel Ramirez took turns doubling off each other and Bourges went on break with only four big blinds.

Bourges caught a double shortly after the return before the two big stacks went to battle.

Ramirez opened to 42,000 and Mike Sinicola called in the big blind to see the flop. Sinicola followed that up with a check/raise shove after Ramirez bet out 60,000. It took a few moments to work out but Ramirez shrug/called with for middle pair against Sinicola’s open-ended straight draw .

The turn left Ramirez with seven outs to dodge for the big double up but the river was one of the bad cards. A tough way to go from second position to out and Ramirez had to settle for third place money.
