Manelic Minaya opened to 64,000 and it folded around to Steven Bennett in the small blind. He three-bet to 175,000. The big blind folded sending it back to Minaya. He shoved and Bennett called. It was a classic race.

The flop hit both players falling . Bennett paired up, but Minaya’s set was best. The turn brought Bennet some outs as he could improve to a fullhouse on the river. Sure enough, his runner-runner came through when the dealer burned and turned the on the river. Minaya’s chips hit the pot in a splash as he sat stunned. Bennett apologized over and over. He had Minaya covered just slightly and Minaya busted 15th.
