The first event on the Tampa Signature Poker Series schedule drew a massive field for the $500 buy-in tournament and they more than doubled the $250,000 guarantee into a prize pool worth $560,700.
170 players advanced to Day 2 today at the top of the hour, all in the money with $740 locked but all aiming for the $90,440 top prize.
Brandon Kessous bagged the lead in Flight A and his 795,000 held on to the top spot with Cale Wynegar, Hung Nguyen, Diego Uez, and William Soscia rounding out the top five.
They will play the last 16 minutes and change of Level 14 then continue as normal until levels go up to 40 minutes in Level 20.
