It took less than 30 minutes to lose another eight players in Event 1 to leave us with four tables in play. Yan Tin Jiang was a surprising addition to the result list and “MT” Tawfik did most of the work. He was tight-lipped about it but his tablemates use descriptors like “ace-high” and “called” while Tawfik jumped into the chip lead with 1,750,000.
