We missed the action but saw the aftermath. Chip leader Eran Golan sent about 800K across the table to Parm Mehmi to double her up when her aces held against his big slick for the huge pot.

“I made a mistake,” Golan said. “I thought you only have around 400,000.”

He’s still doing just fine and leading the way.

Shortly after the first break, we heard a call for a payout at Table 10, and Conrad Flores stood up. He was among the leaders a few minutes earlier but stood in the payout line shortly after.

As told by the table, Flores took a shot with ace-queen against James Collins who paired a king with his ace-king. Collins is now up to 1,185,000 while Flores had an unfortunate early exit.

We took a walk among the tables while players were enjoying their first break, looking for big stacks and who’s having a nice early afternoon.

Ben Chelladurai returned for Day 2 with 361,000 and added nearly one million over two levels. He was the leader at break with 1,238,000, followed by Kara Margraf with 840,000 and Eran Golan with 798,000.
