Day 2 of the Super Stacks Main Event is ready to go at noon in the Poker Room with 312 entries already in the $1,700 buy-in tournament with registration open until cards go in the air. We will pick up a few more before we lock it down.

The prize pool already surpassed the $150,000 guarantee and more than tripled it past $450,000. We will know the official numbers once we close the books.

Hal Rotholz bagged the biggest stack and comes bag to 487,000 to start Day 2. Herbert Nairn (469,000), Anthony Astarita (452,000), Aiping Jiang (442,000), and Jordan Degrenier (387,000) round out the top five.

Blind levels increase to 60 minutes at the start of Day 2 and increase to 90 minutes from Level 23 until the tournament is heads up.

Cards will go back in the air at noon and we will be here for the long grind to a winner.

It was a close race at the end, both Hal Rotholz and Herbert Nairn were neck and neck for the lead. In the end, Rotholz held on to the top spot and put 487,000 in his bag for the biggest of the flight and first place coming back for Day 2. Nairn will return with 469,000 in second followed by Anthony Astarita’s 452,000.

Tournament staff will compile the Day 2 counts and seat assignments and we will post them as soon as they are available.

Late registration will remain open overnight and close at noon on Sunday.
