Action was slow nearing the money bubble until it wasn’t. Then things went a little sideways and it took a few minutes to get straight before cards went back in the air.

With 43 remaining and 41 getting paid, tournament staff were waiting for one player to be eliminated to begin hand-for-hand. But four players busted out at the same time around the room to suddenly put the field into the money with a little controlled chaos.

Ken O’Donnell, Luke Brereton, Toby Boas, and David Tuthill were all eliminated at the same time to quickly drop the field to 39 and they chopped the bottom two spots.

There was little action after the blinds went up. Jeremy Becker was unable to bounce back from his early drop but that was the only player eliminated in the first 30 minutes of the new level.

Luke Brereton looks like the shortest stack of the remaining players but he still has enough chips to push opponents off hands.

The slow crawl to the money has begun and they are heading into Level 18 of the Main Event. The bubble should burst before they see another break.

Edgardo Rosario ramped his stack up over the last level and now sits with 1,075,000. Anthony Askey also added to his since break and joined the million-chip club with 1,030,000.

Jason Kapoor is the first player over one million and his 1,018,000 leads heading into the bubble. It looks like a lot of that came at the expense of Jeremy Becker who is down to 115,000.

Players returned to their seats and everyone is chasing Anthony Askey at the top of the counts. He sits behind a castle worth 892,000 with Aiping Jiang not far behind with 872,000.

With the flop reading , Paul Jackson and TK Miles got all their chips in the middle. Jackson flopped two pair tens and nines with but he was dominated by Miles with aces up .

The board finished with the turn and river to give Miles the pot. The dealer counted down both stacks, Miles was at risk for 119,000 and Jackson was left with a single 5K chips.
