Event 7: Cards Getting in the Air

$300 Black Chip Bounty Survivor Satellite
Cards are getting in the air for the $300 Black Chip Bounty Survivor Satellite. For each knockout, a player will receive $100 and for every 10 players that enter, one seat will be given away to the $1,650 No Limit Hold’em Main Event.
Play will stop when 10% of the field is reached and the remaining players will receive their seats and head to the cage to cash in their bounty chips.
Players will begin with a starting stack of 10,000 and levels will be 20 minutes long. There will be late registration and re-entry up until the beginning of level 5. We will have a complete list of winners at the end of the day.

Event 6: Final Table Time

The bubble burst with the elimination of the 8th player and the final seven moved to a single table to resume play.  They are all now in the money and guaranteed to leave with at least $1,125.

During the previous level:

Peter WalsworthPeter Walsworth (above) got all-in pre-flop holding AdTd and was dominated by Konstantinos Pantaridis’ AcQs.  Then the board ran out KdTh3s7dKc and Peter paired his Ten to take the pot.  He doubled up to ~152k.  Konstantinos dropped to ~70k.

Amaury LopezRonnie Elkhatib is up to ~500k and the chip leader.  Amaury Lopez (pictured above) is second with about 420k.

Harold Angle

Harold Angle has been flying under the radar today, but he’s been found out.  The unassuming gentleman won the WSOP Seniors event back in 2010, beating a field of 3,142 players and pocketing $487,994.

He was also kind enough to show us his bracelet!

Down to 40 players.  Average stack is 147k.

Players have returned from their first break of the day.  Only 48 remain with an average stack of 123k.

Todd Renizker is still the chip leader with 410k.

Ronnie ElkhatibRonnie Elkhatib (above) is second with 294k.  Not bad considering he started the day with only 35,500.

Event 5: Manny Minaya Bubbles

On the money bubble with 55 players:

Todd Renizker opened for 12k and Manny Minaya 3-bet to 30k.  Todd called.  On the flop of T 9 3, Todd checked, Manny bet, and Todd called.

Turn was another 9 and Todd shoved.  Manny called all-in.Todd had pocket Queens and was crushing Manny’s pocket Jacks.

River was a brick and Todd’s Queens were good.  He took the huge pot, chipping up to over 400k and solidly in possession of the chip lead.

Manny Minaya, who began the day 6th in chips, busted out on the stone-bubble.

The remaining 54 players are now in the money and guaranteed to earn at least $295.
