The Flight B field was shrinking faster than its predecessor, Flight A, and 19 players remain after the (probable) last break of the day. Only 15 will book a seat in Day 2 so the grind should slow.

Rodney Turvin has the big stack among the small group with 478,000 followed by Steve Dees with 371,000.

The second flight of SPS Event 15 gets underway and builds on the great turnout of Flight A yesterday. We had 81 entries for the $130 buy-in tournament, setting it up to crush the $50,000 guarantee this weekend.

Players start with 20K in their stacks and the first 18 levels last 20 minutes before increasing to 30 for the rest of the tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 7 at 9:15 pm. Flight B will continue until 10% of the field remains and survivors will return on Tuesday at 6 pm to play it out.

Cards are back in the air for Flight B of SPS Event 14 with two more hours left to join them. We have 99 entries so far and the prize pool is up to $123,220 with Flight C set to boost it tomorrow.

Anthony Bertuccio is a familiar face at the top of the counts, leading the field with 193,300 followed by Steve Dees (164,500), Kevin Carnevale (152,300), and Eli Kiwan (124,200).

There’s a fun crowd in the H.E.R.O.S. tournament on one side of the room and another on the other side. Flight B of Event 14 is siding up toward triple digits and a lot of familiar faces heading to the second break.
