Unlike yesterday’s drawn out money bubble, Flight F got there and into the money without going into hand-for-hand mode. Tournament staff broke a table and before the new seats were warmed up, Tables 21 and 22 each lost a player to put the field in the money.

Victor Nissim did the job at Table 21 and bagged the day’s biggest stack with 796,000 followed by Eric Nadal with 684,000.

The next break has come and gone and they should not see another one until they burst the money bubble. Only 41 players remain and 30 will advance, unless we hit another slowdown like Flight C, it should be a quick finish.

The sixth flight of the SPS series opener starts at the top of the hour and the $400 buy-in tournament already ran past the $250,000 guarantee. With 916 entries so far, the prize pool is over $300,000 with two more flights to go.

Players start with 30K in their stacks and the first 19 levels last 30 minutes before going up to 40 for the rest of the tournament. Late registration and re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 10:30 pm.

Flight F will continue until 12.5% of the field remains and survivors will return on Sunday at 11 am for Day 2.

Registration closed for Flight E of SPS Event 1 with 239 entries hitting a couple of milestones. The tournament cruised past its $250,000 prize pool early in the day and surpassed a $300,000 prize pool by the time it was done.

The next flight runs at 6 pm, and the last is going tomorrow at 11 am.

Flight E will continue until 30 players remain. The top 30 will advance to Day 2 on Sunday at 11 am in the money. Players must bag chips to cash in the tournament.
