Event 7 is down to five tables with 40 players remaining and they are taking their time with a lot of money up for grabs.
MT Tawfik is among the leaders with more than 200K at the midpoint of the day. A lot of that came from Wally Maddah when a flopped set beat top two but they are still smiling after Maddah found a triple of his short stack.

Ken O’Donnell
Event 5 was the mid-series tournament on the Pinktober Poker Open schedule and it had a very nice turnout. It attracted 125 entries for the $600 buy-in and Ken O’Donnell won it outright for more than $20,000.
The tournament easily surpassed its $50,000 guarantee and put $66,250 in the prize pool. We had 13 players advance to Day 2, all in the money, and they quickly played down to the final table.
O’Donnell was in the middle of the pack but quickly took charge along with the chips. Players continued to drop until he had a big lead heads-up with Daniel Kasper. With barely a blip, O’Donnell picked up every chip in the tournament and won the title along with $20,059.
