Julio Marrero
The first break is near along with the impending bubble when they get back. They are only a handful of eliminations away from making some money and our Day 2 returning chip leader continues his hot run.
Julio Marerro came back to the poker room with 338,500 but is now up to 617,000 as other players hit the rail.
The 2018 WPTDeepStacks Tampa series is almost complete and time is running out to walk away with a title. The Main Event will be playing down in the front part of the poker room while the last tournament on the schedule kicks off in the back.
Event 5 is a $250 buy-in turbo tournament with a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool and structure meant to induce action. It is a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon if you missed out on going deep in the Main Event.
Players will sit down to 25,000 starting stacks and all levels last 15 minutes a pop. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 13 around 5:30pm. They will continue from that point until they reach the money bubble, the final table, and the last champion of the series.
Action kicks off at 2pm and we’ll bring you the milestones and highlights along the way.

Anthony Do
Mark “Bud” Wiser opened to 11,000 from middle position and Anthony Do three-bet shoved for 59,500 from the cutoff. The button and blinds released and Wiser called with the bigger stack.
Wiser: Do:
Do was in rough shape with the single over card and couldn’t catch the board to exit short of the money.

Rex Clinkscales
The action to start Day 2 has been much slower than expected. Only 19 players hit the rail in the first level back which is not the norm but they will pick it up before the money bubble.
Both former WPTDeepStacks Tampa champs are grinding away; 2016 winner Anthony Astarita in the middle of the room and 2017 winner Rex Clinkscales in the back.

Julio Marrero returns to Day 2 with the Main Event chip lead
They have played three starting flight in the 2018 WPTDeepStacks Tampa Main Event and now is the time for everyone still in the game to join as one in the poker room. The tournament drew 620 entries and 129 players return today trying to make it down to the final table.
Julio Marrero returns with the chip lead but Corey Lipke is not far behind. There are some very talented players still in the field including both previous WPTDeepStacks Tampa Main Event champs. Anthony Astarita (2016) and Rex Clinkscales (2017) bagged up chips and will return today.
Michael Cohen finished second to Clinkscales last year and he comes back to a top ten stack while Seminole Hard Rock Poker Player of the Year challenger Michael Newman will have some work to do with his shorter stack.
The top 78 spots will get paid and we will see the money bubble approach around the time of the first break. Today’s schedule has the field playing down to the final table nine and they return tomorrow to play it out.
Cards go back in the air at noon and we will have all the action from start to finish.
