We have another Omaha tournament getting underway at noon, this time it’s a $400 buy-in Deep Stack PLO game with is $10,000 guaranteed prize pool.
Players start with 25,000 and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration is available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm and they may re-enter as often as needed during that time.
They will take a 30-minute dinner break at 6:30 pm and return to find our next TPC PLO champ.

With time running out before the 2022 Tampa Winter Poker Open Championship, we ran the first of two big preliminary tournaments with the $1,100 Deep Stack. Event 6 drew 94 tough entries and Seminole Hard Rock Poker legend Raminder Singh took the top spot for $21,486 after a three-way final table deal.
The tournament surpassed its $75,000 guarantee and put up a prize pool worth $91,180. The last 12 players made the money, and Singh was in the bottom half of the counts as the final table neared. He had only nine big blinds with four players remaining, went up from there in a hurry, and was posing with the trophy less than an hour later.
Singh battled, doubled a few times, and eliminated Tom McDonald, our 2022 Tampa Poker Classic Championship third-place finisher, in fourth place. Two more doubles and he wrestled the lead from Shane Melert and Philip Jackson.
With three players remaining, they made a deal to divide up the remaining prize pool with Singh holding more than half of the chips in play and getting the lion’s share of the prize pool.
This marks the fourth time Singh has finished a major Tampa tournament in the top. In addition to this title, he earned two trophies during the WPT Tampa series in August and won this WPO tournament in 2020.

The Event 6 result pushes Singh’s dominance across the board in Seminole Hard Rock Poker events. Add these four Tampa titles to the incredible nine in Hollywood, plus a RunGood Poker Series Main Event ring from Coconut Creek, and no one has finished it out more times.

After a few times around the three-handed table, they decided to take a look at the ICM numbers. Everyone liked what they saw and Raminder Singh is the WPO Event 6 champ thanks to his big chip lead after a three-way deal.
Shane Melert earned $16,375 for third place, Philip Jackson banked $17,619 as the runner-up, and Singh walked away with $21,486 plus another trophy.

After another double for Raminder Singh versus Philip Jackson, he was heads up with Shane Melert to a flop. Singh checked from the big blind, Melert bet 50,000 and Singh check-raised to 90,000.

Raminder Singh open-shoved for 275,000 from under the gun and Tom McDonald called in the big blind with a slightly bigger stack.

Singh was behind, asked for a chop, but did it better when he paired his four on the flop. The turn and river finished the board and Singh doubled up.
McDonald was left with only 35K and eliminated on the next hand.
