After the first break, we found a special friend in today’s field; defending champ Matthew Leecy joined Flight A and looking to go back-to-back. He captured the Pinktober Poker Open Championship last year for $111,240.
Leecy holds a unique record for our room. That PPO Championship win made him our first player to own two Championship/Main Event titles, adding that one to his 2019 Tampa Poker Classic Main Event win.

The first break ended and players returned to the action with 60 players in the game. That’s a great start and we’re looking forward to a busy weekend.
