They’re in the last level of play and only 16 remain, thanks again to Phil Wasserman.
Manny Minaya opened for 3,500, seat 3 called, Herbert Woodbery called, then Brett McCown shoved for 24,500 straight. Phil was on the button and said “40”, but was required to make the minimum raise, which was a little more. Didn’t matter, since it chased everyone else out of the pot.
Brett was ahead with pocket Aces. Phil had pocket Queens. The board ran out 6 3 2 7 Q and Phil caught his 2-outer on the river to take the pot and bust Brett. Phil is up to ~210k.

With 19 players remaining, Phil Wasserman pulled a double-knock-out to bring the count down to 17.
Three players got all-in pre-flop and Phil had the biggest stack and the biggest hand — pocket Aces. One opponent had pocket Kings and the other had A8.
Phil’s Aces held up and he KO’ed the other two players. He’s now up to ~200k and the chip leader again.

Joe Boulais was the chip leader with about 150k. Then he ran into Herbert Woodbery.
Herbert opened for 3,500 and Joe 3-bet to 7,500. Herbert called to see the flop of . He checked, Joe bet 8,500 and Herbert called.
Turn was the and Herbert led out for 9k. Joe called. River was the and Herbert fired 20k. Joe called.
Herbert showed for the straight and Joe mucked, dropping his stack to ~120k while Herbert chipped up to ~110k.
Then three players took a flop for a pre-flop raise. On the Herbert checked, Joe checked, and Adam ‘megalodon’ Santos tossed in his last 10,050. Herbert called and Joe exited the pot.

On the flop of both players checked the dry side pot. When the came on the turn, Herbert tossed 25k across the line, only to have Bret move in over the top. Herbert mucked.
