The last big tournament on the WPT Tampa schedule drew 33 entries to the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em game. They combined to create a prize pool worth $156,750 and the last four players will get paid. A min-cash will earn $21,490 while the Event 21 champ will take home $66,837 plus the guitar trophy.

The Event 21 field is small but talented, the $5,000 buy-in attracting some of the best players in the area. We caught Tampa Poker Room regular Jeremy Becker having to deal with the likes of two WPT Champions; Frank Stepuchin and Ryan Van Sanford

We are closing out the WPT Tampa series with the biggest buy-in tournament on the schedule. Event 21 has a $5,000 buy-in with a one-day format and starts at 11 am.

They’ll sit down to 20,000 starting stacks and play 30-minute levels. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm. It will be a big prize pool with a great field before we crown the last champion of the series.
