The 2022 Tampa Poker Classic Championship is down to the last nine players and it is a very talented final table with Justin Zaki in the lead. He’s followed closely by three-time WPT champ Brian Altman but there is little distance between the top six players.

Everyone is guaranteed $19,815 but there’s $198,150 sitting up top waiting for out TPC champ.

They will play the last 4:32 of Level 23 before blinds go up to 25,000/50,000/50,000.

Justin Zaki

Justin Zaki began Day 2 with the lead and he finished it with the lead. Nine players remain in the 2022 Tampa Poker Classic and he will return with the biggest stack at the final table when they resume play on Monday.

But three-time WPT champ Brian Altman is lurking and the top six players are separated by only four big blinds. The title is still wide open.

Everyone is guaranteed at least $19,815 but someone will bank $198,150. Cards go back in the air at 2 pm with 4:32 remaining in Level 23.

Paul Snead opened to 80,000 from under the gun and Jason Block moved all in for 550,000 from next to act. The rest of the table folded and Snead called.

Block was looking great for a needed double but Snead jumped ahead on the As7c3h flop. The 2d turn and 4h river finished the board and Block was eliminated in 10th place.

Tournament staff paused the clock, handed out new seating slips, and the last nine players will return tomorrow at 2 pm to play out the final table.

Jason Block opened to 80,000 from the cutoff and Bobby Pratt three-bet to 200,000 from the button leaving about the same behind. Bryce McVay dropped enough chips in the middle to cover Pratt and push Block out of the hand. Pratt called at risk.

Pratt was ahead in the race to double but McVay paired his king KdQh3h flop. Neither the 7s turn nor the 6c river was able to save Pratt’s Championship.

Paul Snead limped from the small blind, Jason Block raised to 80,000 from the big and Snead called. The flop came 8h6h2c and both players checked. The turn was 7d, Snead bet 50,000 and Block moved all in for 250,000. Snead called and cards were flipped over.
