After a bit of a slowdown near the bubble, the burst right through it with knockouts on both Table 21 and 22. Dion Jagroo was the big stack through most of the day and put the most chips in his bag.

Just as the third (and probably final) break of the day, Flight A reached 24 players and the field was reduced to the last three tables. No more tables will break today, they will begin bubble play when 17 remain.

Registration closed for Flight A of the $400 opening event with 126 entries putting $41,580 toward the $200,000 guarantee. A great start to the series and on pace for a huge prize pool.

The second break ended and we took a look around the tables to see who was running hot. Florida poker legend Dion Jagroo is the early frontrunner, leading the field with 155,000 followed by Ryan Hogan with 145,000 and Jasmine Gittens with 143,000.

The next big series is here and we kick off the 2025 Tampa Poker Classic today with two flights of the $400 buy-in opener. The tournament has a huge $200,000 guaranteed prize pool and seven starting flights to find a bag.

Players start with 30K in their stacks and the first 19 levels last 30 minutes before increasing to 40. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 3:30 pm.
