The last big warmup before the Championship gets underway at 1 pm with Flight B of the TPC Deep Stack Challenge. The $700 buy-in tournament already beat its $50,000 guarantee and today was just more prize pool on top.

Registration closed for Flight A of the $700 Deep Stack Challenge with 101 entries already creating a prize pool worth $61,610 with another flight tomorrow.
Flight A will continue until 13 players remain and they will move on to Day 2 on Wednesday at 1 pm in the money. Players must bag chips to cash in the tournament.

Non-hold’em specialist Sam Sternfield was the surprise chip leader at the break. The two-time Hollywood champ won his titles in PLO and eight-game mix but has the most chips in this two-card game with 171,600.
