The first warmup for the upcoming TPC Championship was the $600 Deep Stack and the tournament drew 141 entries to crush the $50,000 guarantee. After a tough final table, Michael Latuf defeated Shane Melert heads-up to take the outright title along with $18,615.

David Snead is the early leader in the field with 253,7000 and Ben Ludwig is the closest to him with 221,500. There’s a lot of time left to catch them as they start playing down towards the money, final table, and eventual champ.

The TPC Championship is only a few days away and we will ramp up the stakes. Today we have a $600 buy-in tournament and tomorrow we have the $1,100 One-Day Challenge. Today’s tournament has a big $30,000 guaranteed prize pool and we expect some talent to join us.

Players start with 30,000 out front and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm. They will take a 30-minutes dinner break at 8:45 pm and return to find out Event 7 champ.
