High Roller: Anthony Hu Doubles Twice

$25,500 High Roller (Re-Entry)
Structure | Payouts
Level 16:  5,000/15,000 with a 15,000 ante
Remaining Players: 5 of 25

Anthony Hu

Anthony Hu min-clicked to 30,000 with 125,000 total, John Racener moved all in with his big stack from the big blind, and Hu quickly called.

Hu: AdAc
Racener: AsQd

Hu found a short-stack monster, had a small sweat after the KdJs5s flop, but his aces held after the 9d turn and Jh river.

Anthony Hu – 270,000 (18 bb)
John Racener – 1,350,000 (90 bb)

Later, action folded to Hu in the small blind, he moved all in for 190,000 and Darren Elias called in the big.

Hu: Kh9c
Elias: 2c2d

Not a standard flip but it was a race. Hu missed the Td7s6h flop but paired his king on the Ks turn to take the lead. The 5c river finished the board and Hu had another double.

Anthony Hu – 395,000 (26 bb)
Darren Elias – 185,000 (12 bb)

High Roller: Brock Wilson Doubles Through Darren Elias

$25,500 High Roller (Re-Entry)

Level 15:  5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante
Remaining Players: 5 of 25

Brock Wilson

Darren Elias opened to 20,000 from under the gun and John Racener three-bet to 70,000 from the button. Brock Wilson cold four-bet all in for 245,000 and Darren Elias reshipped for 725,000. Racener thought for several minutes before folding.

Wilson: AsAc
Elias: KcKh

“I had jacks,” Racener told the table.

A big cooler for Elias but he took the lead on the KsTd6h flop when he made a set of kings. The edge was short-lived because Wilson returned the favor with the Ad turn to jump back ahead. The river was Ts and Wilson pulled a double.

Brock Wilson – 580,000 (58 bb)
Darren Elias – 480,000 (48 bb)

High Roller: John Racener Extends Lead

$25,500 High Roller (Re-Entry)
Structure | Payouts
Level 15:  5,000/10,000 with a 10,000 ante
Remaining Players: 5 of 25

Joe McKeehen opened to 20,000 and only John Racener came along from the button. The flop was Ts8d3d, McKeehen bet 25,000 and Racener called. The turn was 3h, McKeehen checked, Racener bet 40,000 and McKeehen called. The river came Js and both players checked. McKeehen showed big slick but Racener was good with pocket sevens to take the pot.

Then Racener opened to 20,000 from the cutoff and Anthony Hu came along in the small blind to see the KsKd7c flop. Hu checked, Racener bet 20,000 and Hu check-raised to 65,000. Racener called, the turn was Ts, Hu bet 40,000 and Racener called. The river was Qd, Hu bet 155,000 (with 320,000 total in his stack), and Racener called.

Hu flipped over 7s7d for a flopped full house but Racener tabled TdTc for a bigger boat to take the pot.

John Racener – 1,650,000 (165 bb)
Anthony Hu – 165,000 (17 bb)
Joe McKeehen – 370,000 (37 bb)
