If folded to Shane Melert on the button and he raised to 200,000. Manny Minaya shipped all in for 2,250,000 from the small blind, Chris Tryba folded his big, and Melert called with the bigger stack.

Minaya was in trouble and needed help to double up. The Jd9c8h changed nothing, he paired his four on the 4h turn but was still behind. The double came on the Ah river and he sat back down to stack his new chips.

Sorgi was in a lot of trouble with the smaller pair but made a set of fours on the As7h4h flop. The 3c turn was safe but Thomas his the two-out Kc river for a bigger set.

Josh Babcock opened to 175,000 from the cutoff and Luke Torres came along from the big blind to see the 8h6h6d flop. Torres checked, Babcock continued for another 200,000 and Torres called.

The turn was Qc, Torres checked, Babcock bet 700,000 and Torres check/raised all in for 1,400,000. Babcock quickly called and we saw the damage.

Julio Delgado’s time outside the top spot did not last long. We caught the end of the biggest hand of the tournament with the board reading TsTc4h3s and about 2,000,000 in the pot. David Meagher’s approximately 2,600,000 went in the middle against Delgado’s bigger stack.

Meagher’s kings were outflopped by Delgado and his trip tens. Meagher was looking for one of the two remaining kings in the deck but missed the 7h river to send the huge pot to Delgado.
