The 2022 Tampa Poker Classic schedule has been ramping up the games as we near Championship weekend and Event 10 was a $1,100 One-Day Challenge tournament. We had a lot of talent in the room and Stuart Taylor came from behind at the final table to take the title after a heads-up deal saw him earn $38,395.
The 177 entries in the tournament more than tripled the $50,000 guarantee and put $171,690 in the prize pool. The last 18 players made some money and they burst the bubble right before the dinner break.
The final table featured past champs and tough players but Stuart outlasting them all to take the title with his chip lead against second-place Buster Hudson.

After Rodney Turvin was eliminated in third place, Stuart Taylor and Buster Hudson wasted no time in chopping up the remaining prize pool right down the middle. Each received $38,395 while Taylor took the top spot for the win and the TPC trophy.

Josh Garber open-shipped for 485,000 from the cutoff and Buster Hudson quickly called from the big blind.
It was a race and Hudson took the lead when he paired his king on the flop. Garber stood up from his seat when the turn came and quickly sat back down when he spiked the two-out on the river to double up.
