Stuart Taylor

The 2022 Tampa Poker Classic schedule has been ramping up the games as we near Championship weekend and Event 10 was a $1,100 One-Day Challenge tournament. We had a lot of talent in the room and Stuart Taylor came from behind at the final table to take the title after a heads-up deal saw him earn $38,395.

The 177 entries in the tournament more than tripled the $50,000 guarantee and put $171,690 in the prize pool. The last 18 players made some money and they burst the bubble right before the dinner break.

The final table featured past champs and tough players but Stuart outlasting them all to take the title with his chip lead against second-place Buster Hudson.
