Enzo Romano

Not much happened during Level 25 but that changed halfway through Level 26. Enzo Romano put his short stack in the middle with QcJc but ran into Nick Ahmadi’s AsQs and could not find a save to exit in 10th place.

At the other table, Timony Pettus was all-in for 310,000 and Christopher Mo called to put him at risk as well.

Mo: Js8s
Pettus: AcKh

Pettus was ahead with big slick but Mo paired his eight on the 8d7d4s flop. The board finished 2h turn and Qc river and the final table was set with eight players.

Christopher Mo

Event 6 was sent on another break with 11 players remaining and Christopher Mo leading. He is up to 2,320,000 with Karl Manouchakian in second with 2,150,000. Nick Ahmadi’s 1,450,000 and Enzo Romaro’s 1,425,000 also have them sitting comfy.

Blinds increase to 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 and the average stack at 1,085,000 (27 bb).

12th: Nicolas Scholz – $3,615

Structure | Payouts
Level 23:  15,000/25,000 with a 25,000 ante
Players Remaining:  15 of 398

Karl Manouchakian

At the same time Ryan Parsa was going out in 18th place, there was another huge hand playing on the other table.

With the flop out and reading 9c4s2s, three players put their stacks in the middle. Larry Eckhardt was the shortest stack with 656,000 and Karl Manouchakian was second biggest with 580,000 against Christopher Mo’s big stack.

Mo: 4c4h
Manouchakian: 2d2h
Eckhardt: JhJc

Eckhardt was best preflop but both Mo and Manouchakian flopped sets. Manouchakian was still in rough shape with his bottom set against Mo’s set of fours, nothing changed on the 9h turn, but he nailed the one-out, case deuce 2c river to nearly triple up while sending Eckhardt out in 16th place.

Karl Manouchakian – 1,725,000 (69 bb)
Christopher Mo – 1,600,000 (64 bb)

Sheng Han

Sheng Han opened for his entire 220,000-chip stack, it folded around to Nick Ahmadi in the big blind and he called.

Ahmadi: AsKc
Han: KhQc

Han had bad kicker problems and the Ts9s5s4cKs gave Ahmadi the overkill nut flush to send Han out in 19th place.

Tournament staff paused the clock to redraw seats at the last two tables.

Nick Ahmadi – 680,000 (27 bb)

19th: Sheng Han – $2,070

Naumann: JsTs
Manouchakian: 9c9h

It was a flip and Naumann needed to catch to double. He did not pair the 8h7s5h flop but picked up a small gutshot in addition to his overs. The 9d turn filled his straight but Manouchakian turned a set of nines. The Ac river did not pair the board and Naumann had his double.

22nd: Hamid Izadi – $1,740

Event 6: Bryan Hunter and Elie Williams Eliminated by Nick Sena-Hopkins

Structure | Payouts
Level 20:  6,000/12,000 with a 12,000 ante
Players Remaining:  37 of 398

Bryan Hunter

Elie Williams open-shoved for 124,000 from under the gun and Nick Sena-Hopkins three-bet shipped for 219,000 next to act. It folded around to Bryan Hunter in the small blind and he called all in for ~180,000 for a big three-way pot.

Williams: 2s2c
Sena-Hopkins: AhKc
Hunter: QsQd

“Everyone gets a hand?” Williams half-joked.

Williams was in trouble with his deuces, Hunter needed his queens to hold to stay in the game, but it was Sena-Hopkins pairing his ace on the Ac7c3h flop to take the lead. He made aces up on the Kh turn and secured the double knockout on the Jh river.

Nick Sena-Hopkins – 543,000 (45 bb)

38th: Bryan Hunter – $1,055
39th: Elie Williams – $1,055
40th: Christopher Dombrowski – $1,055
