Stroman: AhAs
Albertson: 8d8h

Albertson was dominated by Stroman’s rockets and found no love on the Qh5h2h3cKs run out to exit the final table in eighth place.

Hirani: KdQd
Roldan: KcKs

Hirani needed a miracle to stay in the game but couldn’t find it on the AsTc5d2s8h board to exit in tenth place.

John Haas

John Haas had a bad run after the break and put his last 485,000 in the middle against Antwan Prince.

Haas: JdTd
Prince: KcQd

Haas was live but it was Prince pairing his king on the Kh7h4h flop. The board finished with the Ac turn and 5c river to send Haas out in 12th place.

Blinds are up to 30,000/60,000 with a 60,000 ante and the average stack is about 1,830,000 (31 bb).

12th: John Haas – $3,170

$500 Mega Stack (Re-Entry)
$100,000 Guaranteed | Structure | Payouts
Level 25:  25,000/50,000 with a 50,000 ante
Players Remaining:  14 of 504

Nicole Diaz

Cary Rosenthal was peeping stacks at break and wondered if he was the shortest. He had a few more chips than Nicole Diaz but neither were able to spin it up.

After cards went back in the air, Steve Blackmon opened to 150,000 from the button, Diaz shipped in for about 280,000 in the small blind and “MT” Tawfik reshipped from the big blind to isolate.

Diaz: KdQh
Tawfik: 9s9d

Diaz had two overs but missed the AhTs8h flop. She did pick up a gutshot draw but blanked the 7c turn and 7d river to end her day as the last woman in the Pinktober tournament (with the sharp Pinktober hat).

Over on Table 22, Rosenthal was all in for about 350,000 against Jerry Silva.

Rosenthal: 7d5d
Silva: AhJs

Rosenthal had two live, suited cards to double up but Silva slammed the door when he drilled the KcQhTc flop. Silva’s Broadway straight had Rosenthal drawing dead to the 8s turn and 2d river.

15th: Cary Rosenthal – $2,190
16th: Nicole Diaz – $2,190

Level 24:  20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 ante
Players Remaining:  16 of 504

Jerry Silva

With four minutes remaining before the next break, Event 1 reached the last two tables of the tournament. It got there after a big hand between Jerry Silva and Witold Wasik.

Silva limped from the button and called after Wasik raised to 120,000 from the small blind. The flop came Qs8s4h, Wasik bet, Silva moved all in, and Wasik called with a similar stack after a short think.

Wasik: 7d4s
Silva: Qc9d

Silva’s paired queen was ahead and the board finished with the 5c turn and Jd river to give him the pot. The dealer counted both stacks and Silva’s 875,000 had Wasik’s 865,000 barely covered.

17th: Witold Wasik – $1,870
18th: Andre Adams – $1,870
19th: John Ryan – $1,870
20th: Arman Navazi – $1,870
