Entries: 115
Prize Pool: $24,150
June 17, 2018
The last event on the WPTDeepStacks schedule sped right along as you’d expect for a one-day turbo tournament. The pace was brisk and Sanjib Acharya made a heads-up deal that saw him win the title after only eight hours.
The $250 buy-in tournament had a $20,000 guaranteed prize pool and the 115 entries pushed it over $25,000. It paid out the last 15 position with a min-cash walking away with $543 and the last six spots all earning six-digit payouts.
They dropped one after another until Acharya was heads-up with Geneva Pinney, making her second final table of the series, and they agreed to a deal to divide up the remaining money. Pinney earned $5,032 as the runner-up and Acharya took the title plus $6,500 thanks to his chip lead
