The last trophy event on the busy Saturday schedule is a little more Omaha with one more hole card. Event 10 is a $400 buy-in Five-Card PLO tournament that will juice up the action.

Players start with 25K in their stacks and all levels last 30 minutes for the one-day tournament. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at 4:30 pm.

The final flight of the $1,100 SPS tournament gets underway at 11 am in the Poker Room and the tournament will hit a milestone as soon as cards go in the air. Only eight new entries are needed to surpass the $300,000 guarantee and we have more than that registered before action gets underway.

So we’ll be building a bigger prize pool from the first hand until we close registration.

Flight B players are about to take their last break of the day (unless things really slow down) with 30 players remaining and 23 moving on.

Kevin Carnevale, winner of our first big multi-flight tournament last weekend, is the new leader in Flight B with a very healthy 533,000.

Registration closed for Flight B of SPS Event 7 with another 182 entries taking the combined total up to 304 for the tournament. That leaves the field only six entries short of surpassing the $300,000 guarantee and they will get there as soon as cards go in the air for Flight C tomorrow at 11 am.

Flight B will continue until 23 players remain and survivors will return on Sunday at 11 am in the money on Day 2. Players must bag chips to cash in the tournament.

The third break ended, players returned to action, and we closed the books on Flight B. The clock shows an unofficial 182 entries and we will report the numbers when the math is complete.

Michael Colangelo was again was the big stack we found while they were away from the tables. He came back to an even 250K in his stack but former TPC Main Event final tablist Thad McNulty is not far behind with 238,500.
