Event 5: Flight 4 In the Books

$155 No Limit Hold’em

The fourth and final flight of the $155 No Limit Hold’em event was had the biggest turnout of all the flights. By the time the registration window had closed, there were 218 players in the flight, which brought the final total for the event to 592.

That big of a field shattered the $50,000 guarantee that the Hard Rock had put on the prizepool and generated a total prizepool of $74,000.

After just over 11 levels of play, the 218 player field had been fleshed down to just 35. Those 35 that survived the fourth flight will join the survivors of the other three flights on Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm to play down to a winner on the final day of the tournament.

There are a total of 95 players from all four flights that will be making their way back for day 2. A complete list of the chip counts will be listed in the end of day recap.

After several minutes, another player at the table called for a clock. Pantaridis promptly called before the dealer could even call for a floor to count down.

Neither player was anxious to turn up their hand at showdown. Pantaridis’ opponent just mucks his hand, conceding the pot to Pantaridis. Pantaridis shows Qd8h, good for top pair on the flop and scooped the pot.
