Main Event: Guaranteeing $300,000

The preliminaries are over and that means it is time to roll out the Pinktober Poker Open headline. The $1,100 buy-in Main Event starts on Thursday with the first of three starting flights as it builds toward its $300,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Players have deep stacks and slow structures to give them a lot of play. The Main Event runs 40-minute levels from the beginning with 30,000 starting stacks. The blind levels increase to an hour starting with Level 18 and they jump to 90 minutes when the tournament hits the last three tables.

Each starting flight will play 14 levels before survivors bag up for Day 2 on Sunday. Since this is a “best stack forward” tournament, players have the opportunity to fire as many of the flights as they wish and play their biggest stack should they bag up more than once.

Cards go in the air at 11 am on Thursday morning with Flight B at the same time on Friday and Flight C on Saturday.
