There was a late position limp before the player in the cutoff raised to 3,000. There were a few folds before Wally Maddah three-bet to 6,500 from the big blind.
The player in the cutoff called and they saw a flop of 7d5s4h. Maddah bets 15,000 and the cutoff goes into the tank.
“I should shove, ” said the cutoff. “But I’ll just let you have it.”
The cutoff shows before he mucks his hand.
“I would have snap-called,” replied Maddah.
Maddah tables and grows his stack to 56,000 as we inch closer to the second break of the flight.
