Lane Phillips Eliminates Wally Maddah

After a raise preflop, three players saw a flop of KdQs6c. Lane Phillips (pictured) continues with a bet of 4,200. There was a fold before Wally Maddah moves all in for 22,500 additional chips.

Phillips goes into the tank for several minutes as he takes inventory of his chips to see what he would be left with if he calls and loses. After several minutes in the tank, Phillips begrudgingly tosses in a call and in the lead.

Phillips shows AsQd, good for second pair and is up against Maddah’s JcTd, good for an open-ended straight draw. The turn is the 5h and the river is the 4s and Phillips increases his chip stack to roughly 115,000.
