Jon Miller took home the top prize worth $9,455 and the WPT Trophy at the final table of Event 11 a little past 11 pm tonight after a heads-up final against AJ Kelsall. Here is what he had to say after the win: “Good, I like the tournaments that they run here, the mixed games and everything, so yeah it feels good to get the trophy.”

“For most of the day I was really short, right up until we got to the final two tables, and then from there it was pretty much smooth sailing. I just was making a lot of hands and turning up the aggression, and there were a lot of good players, but I made the right hands at the right time,” said Miller when he was asked about his path through the final stages of the tournament.

“I like how they run all the mixed games one right after the other, it makes it really convenient to travel down here for all of those, and make sure I get all of them in. The crowds are always really good, the tournaments are always really well run, I just like the property in general,” said Miller when he was asked about his tournament series experience down here in Tampa.
