Flight 1: End of Flight Chip Counts

$1,650 No Limit Hold’em (Re-Entry) WPT Championship

Level 14:  Blinds 1,200/2,400/400 ante (clock stopped with 20 minutes remaining)

Mike Raimon busted out and now owes his wife Natasha a one hour massage for losing their last-longer bet.

Justin Zaki opened for 5k from the cutoff and Natasha Barbour Raimon shoved from the big blind.  After some thought, Justin called all-in, showing A7 off.  Natasha was ahead with A9 off.  The board rolled out 8 8 5 8 9 and Natasha paired her kicker to take the pot.

With Justin’s elimination, only 12 players remained (14% of the field), so play was halted early with 20 minutes to play in level 14.  The final 12 bagged their chips and will return for Day 2 on Sunday at 11am.
