Day 2 of Event 7, a $560 deep stack no limit hold’em tournament, is underway with 132 remaining from 634 starting. Just one player, chip leader Chris Mitchell, is over 400,000. Mitchell bagged last night’s sixth and final starting flight with a monster stack of 405,000 and sets the pace with the money bubble right around the corner.

Others in contention include Timothy Miles (220,500), Michael Laake (207,500) and Austin Buchanan (116,000).

Only the top 63 players finish in the money with a min-cash worth $1,072. The tournament’s winner, meanwhile, heads home with $74,718 as well as a $1,650 Winter Poker Open Championship seat.
