Derek Bowers went on a rush, taking the chip lead.  On the river with a board of Q 3 2 8 3, Derek check-raised Honest John Dobson to 120k straight.

John called, only to see Derek’s QQJ3 for Queens-full.  With that pot Derek chipped up to about 575k while John’s stack dropped to about 105k.

On the last hand of this level, John got some back.  On a flop of John got his last 95k in and called by Derek.  John’s had both straight and flush draws.  Derek held KJ92.

The last two came and John made the nut flush to take the pot.  He doubled to about 220k, dropping Derek’s stack to ~435k.
