We have only one tournament in the Poker Room today but it will be a big one. It is the final flight of the WPTDeepStacks Tampa opening event and Saturday afternoon poker will bring out the crowd.
The first six flights drew 672 entries into the $360 buy-in tournament and Event 1 will hit its $250,000 later this afternoon when today’s count hits 162. Then they will begin pushing the prize pool higher and higher.
They’ll play out today like the previous days. Entrants will start with 20,000 deep stacks and play 30-minute levels. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 around 3:30 pm and Flight G will wrap at the end of Level 14. At that point, we will know the identity of everyone returning for Day 2 tomorrow at 11 am.
Cards fly at 11 am and we will be here from start to finish.
