Defending WPTDeepStacks-Tampa Player of the Series, Karl Manouchakian

A couple defending champions are in the Flight B field tonight at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa. Last year’s standout, Anthony Astarita, bested 538 entries in the $1,100 buy-in Main Event earning $130,541. Astarita has carded a handful of additional cashes in the months since and hopes to repeat his victorious performance during this year’s series.

Karl Manouchakian didn’t cash last year’s Main Event, but beat it up in the prelims. He finished runner-up in the 698-entry opener before claiming the top spot at the hands of a 495-entry field in Event 3. The deep runs were good enough for Player of the Series honors.

Both Astarita and Manouchakian are among the Flight B field and you can expect them to be here daily throughout the series.
