The opening event of the 2023 Pinktober Poker Open drew 1,305 entries for the $200 buy-in tournament to turn the $100,000 guarantee into a prize pool worth $208,800.
We had 133 players make it through their starting flight and return this morning at 11 am, in the money and trying to win the $34,840 top prize.
Matt Sundberg leads the way with Ed Johnston, Asif Mohammed, Yan Jiang, and Joshua Paige rounding out the top five. It’s still anyone’s game and it will be a fun day of playing deeper towards the first champ of the series.
