The fifth day of the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Spring Poker Open was a lot like the fourth. For the second day in a row, the entirety of the day’s tournament schedule were two flights of the $155 No Limit Hold’em tournament, which had a $50,000 guaranteed prizepool.
After all four flights were completed, the official field size was 592 players, with 95 of them surviving to make Day 2 of the event. That number will be smaller by the time cards get in the air because there are a number of players that bagged survived more than one flight and will only be able to play their bigger stack.
Day 2 will get cards in the air at 2 pm on Wednesday and will play down to a winner.
Here are a look at the top 10 chip stacks heading into the final day:
1. Oscar Lindo – 177,600
2. Mark Fein – 171,000
3. Mark Rose – 171,000
4. James Topping – 163,100
5. Charles Case – 157,100
6. Manny Minaya – 152,500
7. Joseph Hart – 143,900
8. Jordan Cannatella – 136,000
9. Robert Austin – 128,100
10. Shawn Sorgi – 125,200
Wednesday will be a busy day at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa. There will be three events going on throughout the day. The $340 No Limit Hold’em Six-Max event gets cards in the air at 11 am. That event has a $25,000 guaranteed prizepool. This is a one-day event and will play alongside the restart of the $155 No Limit Hold’em event.
At 7 pm, there will be a $300 No Limit Hold’em Black Chip Bounty Survivor Satellite. Each player will be awarded $100 for each player they eliminate and once they reach the top 10% of the field, the remaining players will be awarded a seat into the $1,650 Spring Poker Open Main Event.
