On a Queen-high flop, the player in seat 9 got his chips in the middle against Scott Walters.  Seat 9 was ahead with pocket Kings and Scott had AQ for top/top.

Then another Queen landed on the river, giving Scott trips and the pot, sending his opponent to the rail.

“That’s been happening all day on this table,” said Todd Anderson, President of Poker Night In America.

Scott chipped up to about 80k.  He’s a local recreational player who is an executive in the spirit business — as in wine and spirits, not the ghostly kind.

I did not catch the departing player’s name, but he’s getting today’s Hard Rock, Hard Beat of the Day award.
