The clock strikes 11 a.m. and cards are in the air for the third and final starting flight in the $1,650 Winter Poker Open Championship. The clock sits at 70 entries and counting putting the prize pool at an unofficial $432,000 with late registration/re-entry available until the start of Level 9.

Thursday’s and Friday’s flight advanced a combined 62 players with Jonathan Lagace-Bastien leading the way with an impressive 357,500 chips. Today’s play will match the previous day’s with players taking their seats to deep, 30,000-chip starting stacks. They’ll log 14, 45-minute levels with play wrapping shortly after 11 p.m.
