After a fairly uneventful day and a half, defending Winter Poker Open Championship winner AJ Kelsall has finally found some chips. He busted yesterday’s opening flight late in the day before re-entering this morning. After taking a hit early he was down to about half starting stack, but now he’s trending the other direction.

Kelsall currently claims about 59,000 chips with dinner break just over a level away.
