The preliminaries are all wrapped up, and it is time to roll out the headline event on the schedule. Day 1A of the WPT Tampa Championship kicks off at 11 am, the first of two starting flights with the second going tomorrow.

Three-time WPT champ Brian Altman is the defending champion and will be part of a very talented group of players coming to town this weekend for the big series along with our local regulars.

Championship players sit down to 50K starting stacks and levels last one hour through Day 3. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 9 at ~9:15 pm. There is a 90-minute dinner break scheduled after Level 6 and they’ll play through ten levels on the opening flights.

We expect a fantastic last weekend of the series and look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.
