Oskarsson says he lost a series of pots including flush over flush to end up short before busting. The “5 days a week” regular is taking advantage of re-entry and jumping back in the tournament.

Oskarsson’s final hand, dealt by Rudy, who is a Hard Rock original, 20 years and counting, is won by Mike Ferneman (Davenport).

Ferneman flops a pair of aces with A-Q against Oskarsson’s pair of Kings (K-8) when the chips go in.

In the $555 opening event Ferneman made the money and is off to a good start in the Championship as the third level winds down.
